TANGOO's Colonial Charms collection - A source of inspiration

Fashion collections are a great source of inspiration for make-up artists and wardrobe stylists, as they combine fashion, accessories, hair style and make-up perfectly - Exactly what you always try to do as a make-up artist & stylist, whether it's for a photo shooting session, a beauty pageant competition or your personal professional appearance.

For a studio photo shooting session last week, I got myself inspired by TANGOO's Colonial Charms collection - Kind of modern retrospective on colonial Malaysia.
In honor of Malaysia's 50th anniversary, TANGOO has created in 2007 a collection that harks back to the good old days while brimming with modern sensibilities. The Merdeka spirit is enhanced by witty takes on the charms of a colonial lifestyle that is relaxed, laidback and easy-going.
It's all about the allure of a bygone era with afternoon teas by the rolling lawn, shaded by huge brollies hand held by an army of servants while enjoying the fruits of this verdant land we call home. All very stylish, easy to wear and eminently chic.
The Colonial Charms Collection brings out the best of Malaysia's colonial days as well as designs suitable for contemporary lifestyle.
TANGOO is an expert in mix and match attire, even if you buy 1 piece, you will discover you can instantly match your existing wardrobe.
By the way, TANGOO is a Malaysian fashion label by designers Eric Yeong and Moses Law. Outlets can be found here.
